Blueprint for Education will be attending the Wisconsin Association of School District Administrators (WASDA) Annual Educational Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, April 10-12, 2019 as a Business Partner
Sara will be presenting a session on Wednesday, April 10, entitled: "Using Logic Models to Create High Impact, Measurable Strategies".
Districts are overwhelmed with data – and given time and resource constraints, have a difficult time using data to making meaningful decisions and high-impact improvements. At the same time, district administrators require coherent programmatic strategies – such as professional development and instructional/leadership supports - that are measurable with data and positively influence student outcomes. In this results-oriented session, participants will learn how to create and use a logic model to link high impact strategies to measurable outputs and outcomes to inform ongoing continuous improvement. Logic models are elegant and straightforward tools to clarify strategy priorities, identify key leverage points in the system, link strategies to important outcomes, and track improvements over time.

Annual Teacher Quality Programs (TQP) Summit
The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Innovation and Improvement (OII) annual Teacher Quality Programs (TQP) was held Thursday, June 14-Friday 15, 2018 in Arlington, VA. There were pre-conference sessions on Wednesday, June 13, as well.
This Summit brought together grantee teams from all seven TQP Division grant programs – American History and Civics Academies, Race to the Top-District, School Leadership Program, Supporting Effective Educator Development, Teacher Incentive Fund, Teacher and School Leader Incentive Fund, and Teacher Quality Partnership –to share promising practices and discuss current issues across the teacher and leader professional continuum.
